Surface Plasmon Resonators are small
Surface Plasmon (SP) Resonators have the potential to combine moderate quality factors and ultra-small mode volume to enable cavity quantum electrodynamics (cQED) studies. Their properties can enhance light-matter interactions in either the strong or weak coupling regime, and improve the efficiency of single photon emitters. Design of SP cavities through FDTD simulation and fabrication are implemented.
