Jelena Vuckovic
About me:
I was born in Nis , a city in southeastern Serbia (former Yugoslavia), and lived mostly there until the mid '90s, when I finished my undergraduate studies. Then I moved to the US (California) via Australia, and received my PhD degree from Caltech in 2002. Since then, I have been working at Stanford, where I lead the Nanoscale and Quantum Photonics Research Group, and teach classes on quantum mechanics, optics and nanophotonics.
